The Foundation commenced its activities in June 2009 by starting a 6 week summer camp and the Child Welfare, Education and Skills Training Centre for children aged 14 to18 years.
The most significant achievement is that in a short span of time the Foundation has enrolled 150 plus children, many of whom have acquired good skills and are now working independently as apprentices for 4 hours daily, whilst continuing with their education through Open Basic Education (OBE) programme under the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for the remaining 4 hours.
The Foundation is running its centre at A-73, Okhla Industrial Area, phase-II, New Delhi and is fully equipped with basic infrastructure in terms of space, tools, books, training aids and teaching staff.
